TEAR Representatives
TEAR Reps are a vital link between TEAR's work around the world and our supporters. Reps encourage Christians in their church, school, uni or other community to share God's concern for people struggling with poverty and injustice. Reps also aim to give people practical ways that they can take positive action on behalf of those in need from within a biblical framework.
Make a Difference - Become a TEAR Rep
Being a TEAR Rep the sort of task that's very much tailored to the individual, but there are some key responsibilities:
- Distributing TEAR's development and justice publication, Target Magazine.
- Promoting the use of TEAR's educational resources, such as Bible studies and DVDs.
- Providing ways to stand up for the poor and needy through TEAR's advocacy campaigns.
- Encouraging prayer for TEAR's overseas partners and fieldworkers.
- Promoting TEAR's Arguably the World's Most Useful Gift Catalogue
- Informing people about TEAR's emergency appeals.
